Our History

At Carrick Community Transport, we have been providing reliable and affordable transportation services since 1977. Our journey began as a small community initiative, and over the years, we have grown to become a respected name in the transport industry. We remain committed to providing the highest quality service possible, with a focus on constituted community groups, youth organizations, lunch clubs, nurseries, primary and secondary schools, as well as transport for elderly groups.

We provide flexible, accessible, affordable community led solutions to local group transport needs across the South Ayrshire coastal community and is often the only means of transport available for people who want to attend community organisations and events to reduce their social isolation.  

CCTG runs on a membership model whereby any group can apply to join the organisation at a cost of £35 per annum which allows them access to a minibus booking system.  The booking fee is £15 per booking with a mileage charge of 80p/mile for the first 50 miles and anything over that at 75p/mile based on distance driven.  Groups booking a minibus provide their own driver.
